Founder

Fletcher Wilson

Fletcher Wilson is the Founder of InterVene, Inc. Prior to InterVene, he was a Stanford Biodesign Fellow, and it was during this fellowship that he developed the concept for InterVene’s BlueLeaf System. The Company was subsequently incubated at the Fogarty Institute for Innovation, prior to moving to its current location. Since founding the Company, Mr. Wilson led a Series A financing with subsequent closings from an investor base of over 60, including strategic, VC, angel, and academic institutional investment sources.

Prior to Biodesign, Mr. Wilson served as the lead engineer at a medical device start-up called InSite Medical, working on a device to deliver epidural pain catheters more reliably. He also held an R&D internship at Boston Scientific and a short R&D/Marketing externship at Acclarent (J&J).

Mr. Wilson earned an MS from Stanford in Mechanical Engineering and a BS from the University of Pennsylvania in the same discipline. He is the first named inventor on 12 issued patents. He enjoys soccer, being a dad, and everything Richard Feynman ever said.
